This is the episode that was the saddest and had some of the best quotes in it. Of all the characters in Naruto, my favorite Anime of all time, I pattern myself after Jiraiya, he old, he's wise, he's pervy, and he loves his friends. Here are some of his quotes that moved me:
A mans life is measured by how he lived and what he accomplished before he died.
Looking back in my 25 years my life has been full of failures.
Continually rejected by women, unable to stop friends from making bad decisions, and unable to protect those I love.
Compared to the great black icons of our time, my actions are trifling, insignificant things indeed.
I guess we should look at failures as mere amusements, they are trials which hone your skills...I live believing this.
